The AVCC swimming facility offers a six (6) lane, 25 meter competition swimming pool and a tot pool for toddlers. The AVCC pool is also home to the AVCC Swim Team with 70+ swimmers and is one of the best swim programs in Birmingham. Private and group instruction is available for the non-swimmer. The swimming facility also boasts a snack bar and large men's and women's locker rooms with showers.

The swim facility is open seven days a week from Memorial Day until Labor Day and is also available for rental for private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions. The pool may close early for swim meets or special events!
